In the last few months I have become interested in pipe restoration. I offered my services to a B&B member for free to "show-off" my talent. Here is the free restoration I completed today. Sanded and stained (matched to original finish) with a tripoli compound and carnauba buff. Before photos...then after.
If any of you are interested in my paid services, simply PM me with some pictures of the pipe.

very nice job. I usually restore my own pipes, or estates I pick up though.

Yeah, for people that collect multiple pipes, it's definitely worth it to invest in a buffing/cleaning system.

do you do more than cosmetic fixxing up? Such as performance upgrades, like redrilling draft holes, etc?

The only non-cosmetic that I do is sweetening with a gin/salt method.

Here are some more of my restores. Sorry, no before pics, but they ranged from scorch marks and oxidation, to downright nasty. The Calagal bent billiard has since had the teeth marks removed as well.

The Magic Lamp (bottom pipe in the first picture for those who don't know which one it is) is serving me well. Thanks again. :thumbup1:

Great to hear! That magic lamp has one of the best flame grain patterns I have ever seen; a real beauty.
