Yup, only select products. We try to keep prices low across the board to start. Some manufacturers do not allow us to discount further. Of course, if you find lower prices elsewhere, please do let us know. We're usually able to price match (total order with shipping costs).

Not really sure what to say. It's possible that the ISP in your area is having a hard time talking to our ISP. It happens occasionally, but doesn't usually last very long. We haven't seen any dip in order frequency lately.

Ted Pella does not offer them at wholesale, so I could bring them in, but it would be cheaper just buying direct.

Just received my first order from WCS. I couldn't believe how quickly it arrived. I just ordered online Sunday night and had my package Tuesday when I came home from work. I do live in the Los Angeles area where WCS is located, but still the quick turnaround is appreciated and remarkable. I have ordered from other Southern Cal vendors only to have to wait 8 to 10 business days.

This past time I ordered some blades, an Omega brush and some Clubman bay rum and the package arrived this afternoon. Unfortunately, the bottle seemed to get a pinhole piercing on the bottom corner in transit and about 1/3 of it had leaked out when I got it. I got a great price on it regardless, so I don't want a refund or anything of that kind, but perhaps you should consider putting liquids in a bag or something so if they do leak, they won't damage the other things in the box. The brush and blades were untouched in my package, but the bottom half of the box was soggy, so I think I got lucky.

We're always trying to balance what is necessary when packaging. You don't want to over-package because that raises the prices for everyone. You don't want to under-package because things get damaged and customers aren't happy. I can count on one hand how many times we've had a leak in a product last year, so it's pretty rare when it happens.

I had discussed this purchase a little when it came to shipping with John through a few emails. I placed the order on a Sunday night, and by that Tuesday I had my stuff in hand. Granted I am only a few cities away, but that to me is real service. I mean they had it boxed, and shipped the morning after I ordered it. Most companies I have ever dealt with on the internet take at least a few days to process the order, and get it out. I will most definitely be ordering from WCS again. :thumbup:

It's really funny, now that I've tried a four Japanese after shaves (they've all been great), my favorite is Lucido. I never would have guessed that I would this excited about something that was unscented. I can't say enough good things about it.
Lucido would been a perfect introduction for many wet shavers to these fine products, especially at this price point.

Thanks for the nice comments. We try to get as many orders shipped same day, but our pickups come earlier than we'd like. We're working on moving them back a few hours so we can get even more shipped the same day.

I was going to say to just call them up and John can walk you though it. I ended up using 2 gift cards (plus a debit card) and it processed through with no issues. Just wanted to give a big :thumbup: to WCS!

SWMBO gave me a brush (and other things) she purchased from WCS. I did't find out till months later that the brush actually had a defect.

I contacted WCS via email to inquire if there is actually a problem with the brush. I was informed it was a known issue and the brush had been pulled from the shelf.
WCS offered to replace the brush (once they have it in stock) but I requested a different one which is actually being sent on Monday. Now the kicker here is, and the reason I say WCS rocks, is because I've had the defective brush for over 6 months and they will still send me a new one!!!!

Ok, you might be thinking that this was some high end badger.... noooo it was a boar (about 10 bucks!).

WCS is now my preferred vendor and I will always recommend them!!!

I'd rather not say what was wrong with the brush since they are making it right, needless to say it does not affect the performance of the brush in anyway whatsoever.

As an international customer, you will have to begin the checkout process because the site needs to know your address to show the options and costs. But that is all before any payment information is entered. Domestic customers can use just their zip code in the shopping cart to see the shipping options.

It has plenty of backbone for me and is doing a fine job whipping up lather from several hard soaps.

Could be too new to make a good judgment, but after about 2 weeks it has not shed a single hair and is getting broken in to suit me just fine.

We ship all over the world and it's no challenge to us. The only caveat is that your local customs may delay things significantly and that is beyond our control. The normal BANDB code is always good.

I'd say, but I don't know yet. I just haven't sat down and figured it out. Too many other things keep getting in the way. I'll try to get to that soon.

I let them know that because of the low cost of the brush in the first place, didn't seem worthwhile to ship it back to them, but to check their remaining stock. They responded quickly with a credit towards a future purchase, and told me to keep the brush. Of course, this just made me place an even larger order than I normally would have...

Anyway, excellent customer service. Thanks!

very nice....i've seen some sites sell them in 6's (20, 60, 120 etc) and thus take the free blade from gillette and charge you for it.

It's a liquid soap in a foaming dispenser. I can't say I've tried it yet, but we've sold a number of them without any complaints.

So I ordered a sampler and some other items from West Coast Shaving on December 29th. The items shipped on the 29th and were at my doorstep the afternoon of the 30th or 31st, just in time for New Years Eve. The reason I'm leaving this review is because the items were shipped regular USPS from California all the way to the East Coast in a VERY short amount of time, even shipping same day as the order was placed. That's service! I hope to order more items in the future.

I recently purchased one of the Rover 2 LE's in best. It had a black smudge that was apparently cast in the resin along the lip side. They are already sending a replacement with paid return shipping for the other brush. Unbelievable customer service, and they have gained a customer for life.

Just thought I'd send a shout out about WCS's great service and selection. In my last order were included a couple small free samples of shaving cream and after shave lotion. In my first order there was also a small after shave lotion sample included. All of these samples have been excellent as well as the products I have actually paid for. The first sample was of Speick After Shave lotion. The others were: LuckyTiger lotion, and two different Taylors shave creams. I had to order some of the Speick after trying the sample; it made my face feel great and it smells wonderful. The samples of the Taylors shave creams I'm afraid may have had the same affect. Thanks for the fast, courteous service and the great selection of shaving products!!
