Hello Folks!

Although my question might be a bit confusing I would appreciate to receive some information, tips.

I do posses two shaving brushes, one shavemac 24mm Silvertip and one Bock 21mm Silvertip.

The shavemac's knot is - as usual for brushes made by Bernd (owner of shavemac) - dense and though I really love the softness and backbone of it, I do have difficulties to create and apply lather with that brush. Most of the lather is situated deep inside it and does not come out that easy while face lathering. In marked contrast to that, my Bock 21mm, a quite floppy brush, builds huge amounts of lather that I am able to directly cover my face with.

For both brushes I do use the same soaps and creams (Speick, ToOBS Avocado, AOS Unscented, Castle Forbes Lime).

I do really think about selling my shavemac brush although it is such a nice, high-quality and impressive looking "guy". Maybe I am that type of person who prefers floppy brushes - I do not know.

So, there is a question in that statement, and more over, a request for giving me some advice how to improve my handling with the shavemac brush.

THANKS FOR YOUR ANSWERS!

Cheers
Christian

Dense brushes need more product. The better you load them up, the less places the lather has to hide.
