Howdy :001_smile
I picked up my first alcohol based splash the other day having only used non alcohol balms previously. Admittedly I only got it because I wanted to experiment and the stuff was $5 for 5oz.
Barring the fragrance which is not the nicest (thankfully it is short lived) it actually worked much better than I expected. I thought it would be quite drying but it semed to tone really well and got me thinking that maybe my Nivea ASB leaves me feeling a little greasy by comparison. I'm certainly interested in trying some other alcohol based splashes on the back of this trial at any rate.
Are there any ingredients to avoid? Ingredients that are a must for a non-drying experience? The one I picked up stated that it had real Sandalwood oil (Possibly the frangrance I don't like??), Aloe and vitamin E in the make up. After applying it and getting an awesome cool blast I checked the ingredients and it also featured menthol.
Cheers,
