Can anyone identify this Gillette razor for me?

Can anyone tell me what razor this is? What model and what year? I know these are not great photos, but I hope they would be enough to ID the razor.

I would be thankful for any input.

If it is a TTO - Twist to Open - razor, it's very likely to be an Aristocrat. Need pics of the entire razor to be sure.

Looks like a gold Aristocrat - one of my favorites! I can't make out any date codes in the pics. If there's no date code, I believe it's from the 40's. If there is a date code, it should be from the 50's. Enjoy!

Hard to narrow it down from pics, but you have yourself a '40s Aristocrat.

The box it comes in does say that it is an Aristocrat. But I thought I would not include that in my post just in case it was not one.

The seller (on eBay) told me that it has never been used. And indeed, it shows no sign of use whatsoever.

Here's what I see on the back of the head:

REG. U.S. PAT. OFF.

GILLETTE MADE IN U.S.A.

Unless I am missing something, I cannot see any other numbers or letters on the razor.
