Can someone explain why "they" have to put mint into everything? I mean my god man it's in tooth paste, bubble gum, mouthwash. Heck I think they even put mint in SWMBO. I hate that minty fresh taste. All I want to do is brush my teeth in peace without being accosted by that minty flavor. The only exception I'd make is for double mint gum if the double mint twins came with it

I do not like mint at all. I always brush with non mint toothpaste and chew non mint gum - cinnamon, fruity flavored, asparagus, anything but mint!

I never knew there were people who did not like mint. Personally, I like it.

Is there a place that I can get that Kingfisher toothpaste? I'm having no luck trying to find a mint free and flouride free toothpaste.

I use Tom's of Maine cinnamon toothpaste because Mrs. TG considers mint toothpaste mouth to be a primitive, yet wickedly effective, form of birth control.

BTW, I have not a clue as to what the word "propolis" means, but it's my new favorite word, and I intend to use it often and wrongly.

My hatred for mint is followed closely by that of fennel.

I can stand the Marvis Jasmin mint as its not sweet.

I have has some toothpaste from India that was OK.The name escapes me.

It's like somebody just figured hey everyone likes mint lets put it in all of the tooth paste. I had this tooth paste in Egypt can't remember the name but it was great.

It's a Honey flavored toothpaste.

I might have to give that Tom's of Maine a shot as it is SLS (Sodium Laurel Sulfate) free. I do not like this that strip what I believe are called phospholipids off my tongue exposing the bitter receptors while at the same time dulling the sweet receptors. I want to be able to eat/drink after i brush my teeth without wincing.

I like the flavor of mint, but not so much the artificial flavor they add to toothpaste. I think I'll have to give that Toms of Maine stuff a try. Also, SLS is clinically considered a cause and aggravating agent of oral ulcers, which I frequently have issues with.

Both of the tubes of TOMs that I have in the bathroom list SLS. Actually I'm pretty sure all of the TOMs toothpaste at which I looked at Whole Foods did too.

I looked at a few tubes at the store and most of Tom's had SLS, but there was like one that didn't have it. Burt's Bees also makes toothpaste that's SLS free.
