Hey Guys,

I've had this razor for quite a while and I'm hating I'm even having to consider selling it but what's an appropriate price for it? I'm going through college and I really need the funds.

I've tried searching the BST, this whole form, eBay and Google but I can't seem to find any prices. I remember seeing one a while back that had a price of 1000 dollars.

So what do you guys think I should ask for it? Is 1000 too much?

Thanks in advance,
Nick

Much will depend on condition, cased, pictures, etc. Others will know more. Good luck.

I'll try and get pictures up but my cameras been messing up lately so I'll have to borrow one from a friend. But it's not mint but not far there from its in great condition. It has no case and functions impecably

The lack of a case will impact the value far more than it would in the case of a regular fat boy. The 195 case has the magnifying lens over the bottom of the razor, making it a completely unique case. A collector (and who the hell else would be looking at these) would really want that case.

You can ask whatever you want. What someone will pay is another story.

Does anyone have a picture of the case?

the only 2 195s i've seen sold this year w/o cases (and not included in the famous $2600 lot) sold for $500 each.

Thanks for the help guys.

Does anyone have a picture of the case? I've never in fact knew it came with a case nor have I ever seen it.

Another factor will be if it is the 1-5 dial or 1-9 dial.

It's 1-9.

Thanks Mr-Razor

Will you take my soul as payment?

Seriously, though...that's one heck of a collector's item. For awhile there, I thought I'd never meet somebody who had one.

Besides the condition, I think it also has to do with who is selling the razor. I would pay more from a trusted source then an unknown or questionable seller.

Agree. This could go for hundreds, or even more on ebay.

I would:

1. Find a friend who is great at photography
2. Check out a cedarmanfurniture ebay ad, and make yours look like that
3. Put in a huge description, history, etc., etc.
4. Hope for a bidding war.

I think that would definitely be the way to go, especially if you're looking to set up an immediate retirement fund.
