Which 7 o'clock blades?

I ask because there are a few different versions.

Green Permasharp Stainless Made in India

Black Super Platinum Made in India

Yellow SharpEdge Made in Russian (my favorite)

The 365 is a nice blade imho, see the thread Feather, measure of all blades

I agree as well. They're a good performing product and compare well against the 7 O'Clock Super Stainless and similar blades.

The black 7 O'Clocks from India are excellent blades in my opinion.

The Greens from India are right behind them by an nth.

Yes, the Yellow is the sharpedge (see the reviews on that in the review section), the green are either the Russian or the Indian ones (permasharp). Both very good, for me the Indian ones are just a tad better. Tho that might be me, as iirc both are made according to the same specs

I've used the 365s with good success. However, the cheap 7 O'clock blades I've seen on ebay have very expensive shipping.

The Yellows work best for me. The India greens were just a bit rougher on my face. The Blacks are my second favorite.

slightly OT.... are the G 365s new? I've been around here a while and have never seen or heard of them.

I think I got mine more than a year ago. For some reason Gillette isn't very proud of them. The name "Gillette" is only mentioned on the blade pack - not the wrapper or the blade itself.

What did you think of them? How about doing a post for the review section?

I'm not very good for reviews since it seems like almost any blade works for me. I might use a couple more and give a review a shot.

To me, they shave fine, but are not long lasting. Three shaves max, but I do have a heavy beard.

I'll have to check my supply but I could send you a few if you like. PM if interested.

Sorry about the thread hijack.

That's really nice of you to offer! Thanks!... But, I've found my perfect blade "Astra SP". I was just curious more than anything else. 3shave max is probably all I'd get anyhow too since I have a heavy beard as well. 7 shaves tho with an Astra.

Never heard of them, either. Used a lot of blades, never even seen those for sale.

Yes they are new, made by Gillette India. Might be a revival of an old blade there was a 365 with about the same wrapper in the good old days.

This is where I bought mine from. I did make a couple of purchases from this seller with no issues.

They do sell smaller quantities. I think I bought 25.

They're made in India and have been around for some time. I first used them last year but I haven't gone back to them as I have and extensive lot of blades to go through. The brand is at least over 10 years old as they were mentioned part of the merger of Gillette and Indian Shaving Products of India back in 1999.

I like the Yellow Sharpedge. I got a bunch @ shaving.ie for $1.30 pack. Maybe not the cheapest, but they deliver as fast as a US vendor. The "Black Ninja" is perhaps not as sharp as the Yellow, but VERY smooth, seems to last me longer too. I really like the "feel" of the Blacks, as they slice thru stubble, also the audio feedback too. It's hard to describe, feels like each hair is being sliced of cleanly, but the blade is not harsh at all. I ordered the Ninjas from an ebay seller in India, only place to get them under .30/ea. I guess I should try the Greens at some point....
