Had to get one of the B&B whiskey/bourbon glasses and then a few goodies I have been eyeing. Guess if I am going to be buying from one of my favorite shops, I can't leave off my other favorites, so here goes the shopping spree!!! Thanks WCS, looking forward to playing with the new toys soon.

10% off all Simpson brushes?! Could this be a sign that it's time for me to get a Chubby? (Don't read into that!)
Thanks for all the great stuff on WCS!
UPDATE: Looks like the Chubby I wanted is out of stock - hopefully the coupon is around for a while!

Fantastic! And as for the Chubby 1 being out of stock, I've now set my sights on the Simpson Chubby 2 in Super. Now it's only a matter of choosing between 3-band and 2-band!

I've got a few in the garage. How about a light bulb sampler?

More Chubby 1 brushes on the way if you don't mind the wait. Simpson brushes are selling pretty quick right now.

Hey John,
I noticed that the Harvard specs are sort of similar to the Eagle G3 in terms of loft and whatnot - how does the density compare between these brushes? In general, how does the Harvard match up to other better-known brushes?

Which Eagle G3? The standard Pure or the custom Best? The G3 Best is the densest brush I've ever held, so the Harvard is less dense. The Harvard is sort of like a thicker Persian Jar. The PJ is long and slender. The Harvard is stockier, both in the handle and knot. It's on the denser side, but not a Chubby.

+1. I used the H4 I just bought from WCS. The handle is very substantial, with a dense knot (slightly less than the G3 Best). The knot is also fan shaped. It is an outstanding brush for bowl lathering soaps.
