The liquidation continues!
Tonight I'm submitting an Old Spice Ship Friendship mug, a Barbershop brand boar brush, and a Hess Deluxe #3 boar brush for your consideration.
I've used both of the brushes for shaving, and they function just fine. They have more... vintage style, I guess you'd call it... sparse knots. They do both shed a bit, and I think more than anything they'd make nice restoration projects.
HOWEVER, they are completely shave-ready as they are now. The Hess was actually purchased NOS by me, and only used for one shave and a few palm lathers to get rid of the antique smell from the hair. I will include the box it came in.
The Barbershop brush has a shorter loft than the Hess, but it also has a vintage style sparse knot. I favored this one a bit more from a performance standpoint because it's closer to modern knot construction.
The Old Spice mug still has a fairly strong ship graphic, but the red letters that spell "Old Spice" are nearly gone. You almost always see the Ship Friendship mugs in this faded condition though. Price-wise, I'd like:
