So I started about a year ago and LOVE it!!!! I have been using a Murker HD Classic and Feather blades are my favorite. Now that I got my technique down I want a more aggressive razor.

After reading a bunch of reviews I was thinking about the Slant or Futur. I really like the Feather Stainless but seams like it would not be very aggressive.

Would love any recommendations.

Both are excellent choices, you can't go wrong with either one. Personally, I'd opt for the Futur because due to its adjustability you can use it with just about any blade. You might also want to consider the Merkur 11c, which shaves just like an aggressive HD. Sadly, too few people appreciate this fine shaver.

Merkur 11C is my go to razor! So damn easy to figure out the angle! :)

Edit: Blade? Meant razor ofcourse

the 34C is fairly aggressive with a Feather blade... I'd say the next step up would a slant bar or maybe the Cobra Classic (although I haven't tried it).

Thanks for the quick replies. I will look at those recommended. I was originally looking at the Futur just worried about the smooth finish and how it would handle when soapy and wet. Is this something I should be worried about?

I had one for quite awhile and never had an issue.

I own a couple of Futurs and never had an issue of losing my grip.
