Green Corrosion (Newb Question)

Is it possible to get rid of green corrosion from a chrome DE razor (Gillette Super Speed Red Tip)? Thanks.

The super speed is nickel plated. If you see green, it is probably because the nickel plating has worn away exposing brass, and the copper in the brass is corroding.

Depends on what you want it for. A little plate loss, or even total plate loss, isn't of much concern if you only want a shaver.

I think I bid on this same razor. Limited it to a low amount though because of the corrosion. Didn't win it and am glad because the plate loss would have driven me nuts.
