To all,

I would like to post some information before it starts been a complaint or issue.

The new Israeli Blades 10pc per box are "Made in Israel". What is not made in Israel is the following items.

The box is made in Mexico, the packing of the blades are done in Mexico and the card box is made in Mexico.

There is a description listed on the package which will cause confusion:

Product produced, assembled and packaged in Mexico with "blades made by American Safety Razor Company - Since 1875. Staunton VA 24482 USA"

Imported and Distributed by: Personna International de Mexico S.A de C.V

Notice that the product is what is stated: box, packing and cardbox

It says imported because the blades are imported from Israel.

The reason for new design is because people wanted more per blades per box and its shipping efficient.

Ok guys,

I have been trying to stay away from posting on the BULK orders. But this is the 3rd thread with almost the same question in the blade sections. I want to clear some true things to this "shave apocalypse with RED PERSONNA".

1st. You can get them still from your favorite vendors.
2nd. If not stocked, ask them to stock them.
3rd. Red Personna not in the cycle of IRIDIUMS, SWEDES, ANYTHING GILLETTE in Russia, Red Packs don't belong to Gillette.
3a. Personna in Chapter 11 doesn't affect Red Pack Distribution.
4rd. No need to do BULK orders, i think is not a good idea in my opinion. UNLESS YOU are planning to shave for ethernity. 5000 or 10000 blades which are 1 case, will be more than a lifetime of shaving.
5th. Any questions on the new packs to soon replace the 5 packs are welcome, I am here to help.
6th. I am sorry if I sound rude or demaning. Not my intention. I am trying to be informative and helpful.

7th. I was going to post this on the blade section, but I wanted to avoid any problems.

These blades were a request from another forum and I know little about them till I received them. Apparently these work with a VAS or a Valet razor, which I have no idea of it.

Here is a bit more information about the blades though:

You are correct on these blades. Those are exactly the ones ordered. I still dont know which is the razor that can fit these. Would the Gem work with these?

I actually measured a Ted Pella blade and the height and length of the blade is almost exactly the same. The only thing I would be concerned of is the little indents in the side of the blade. If the are in the same position as in the picture they may not work (on a micromatic anyway - I have a micromatic so thats all I can base my assumption on).

It's woth a try nonetheless.

Don't cause yourself more issues by pushing yourself too hard. Recover and get it out when you feel up to it. US International Priority comes through in just over a week in most cases.

Those prepaid international priority envelopes are excellent - I have had one posted from LA first thing on a Monday and was in my hands on the Friday the same week. Good effort since it was early hours of Tuesday morning here when it was posted, and my mail is overnight from Sydney :blink:

I think they fit on a GEM 1912 razors. I am not really sure about the ever ready. There was a thread in the General Posting that there were some razors that accepted these blades.

Answers to feather single edge questions::

I have 3 gems and two worked well with the blade. The gem push button and the gem gbar. The ones that just click seem to work and blade doesn't move at all. In the macromatic is the one that didn't fit. It is too big for the head in width size.

Definitely try the Barber Personna's. They are very sharp and very smooth. I do have to watch it with them. Loose my concentration for a moment and they'll bite me but if I pay attention, they're very nice.

I've tried the Feathers and they seemed to be just slightly sharper than the Barber's but I got a lot more neck irritation with the Feathers than I did the Barbers.

You pretty much fire particles at a target and atoms move from the target to another object (that you want them to be deposited on). That is sputter deposition which I assume is used for the blades.

Just received my first shipment of blades from razorbladesandmore.com

With the inclusion of some free Personna Barber and Supermax Platinums, I created my own sample pack of 82 blades for about $25 CAD including shipping. These guys had every single kind of blade I was looking for, for about $0.30 a blade.

Took exactly two weeks to ship from California to Southern Ontario (FYI for any Canadians wishing to buy from them). Not their fault really, just slow Canada Post and shipping across the border.

Didn't know that the Blue Personnas (lab/medical) and Barbers do not come in their own package. But, they did put them in a little envelope to ensure that they didn't rattle around the bubble package.

Must have read my mind on these as I was going to buy a big amount of them once they came back into stock - which was just after I placed this order.

I think sputtering is a cool concept for coating a blade, especially since I suspect a lot of "first shave roughness" is due to the coating process used on various other brands. I'm eager to give this one a try, but it might be a little while. I want to go back-to-back with the Personna Med/Personna Lab/Personna Barber to check for differences (probably using my new Coate's cream the whole time, which I'm not too sure about after 2 shaves; stings a bit). That takes care of the next 3 weeks, then I'm going to head into my personal Indian Shaving month, using my newly acquired blades with Godrej Fresh Lime cream and Indian-Shulton Old Spice. So it'll probably be nearly March before I get to the Topaz, which will be the lead-off hitter for that inning.

Fun, eh? And here I thought my RBAD was under control.... :tongue_sm

First, you mention that prices are good til Feb. 13, but then say the rest of the month. Ok.

Then, $2 off TOBS. But only one. Then $2 off CRS. But one only or more than one?

Then 5% off, but isn't 5% LESS than $2 off?

Finally, I won't use PAYPAL. Just a personal thing, granted. But if you are offering discounts, why not allow us to use our credit card?

I am sorry for making postings complicated. It is not my intention to do so. The reason why the codes are not working in google is because of the coupons aren't working properly yet and doesnt block all products that are restricted.

You can use your credit card in google. Buy unfortunately no coupons until this is fixed on google. I'm Sorry.

The codes for tobs and crs were extended till the end of month. Mainly for you to get the discounts for a longer period of time.

The tobs and crs codes will get you $2.00 off each cream. But must be marching brands only. TOBS with tobs and crs with crs. You can't combine with other codes like 5% extra using the universal code: shave. The reason is because of the system can't combine coupons together.. The coupon system is still not perfect, so please do understand.

I'll minimize my postings to be more precise on wording and discounts from now on.
