Hello guys,

if I were to re-plate some razors of mine, I'd like them to be yellow or copper-like colored.

I've read that gold plating is not resistant, therefore I'm asking: what resistant plating metals are similar to gold in color?

AFAIK, copper is not suitable for plating. Is there some suitable plating metal with similar color?

Thank you.

Titanium Nitride is very hard, and has a beautiful gold colour.

No idea where you would get it done, however. The Wikipedia article is here (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Titanium_nitride).

Speaking of replating, I have a razor that needs an overhaul. Any takers or ideas from members here? I'd prefer to have a member do it... thanks

Pictures would be very helpful here.

Copper plates very well it just depends a great deal on how it is done.
