These are from India......at least this on is.

Good water retention capacity, soft feel, no bounce but gets harder as you go along and gathers lather rather well.

I never saw a nylon shaving brush before. What is it like?

As bristles go, i would imagine nylon is what most synthetic brushes are made of, some with a dye job to imitate natural bristles and some without the dye job. I have one that is surprisingly very good.
