So last night I was cleaning my razor up so I could shave with it tomorrow. For some reason, I polished it and then put a new Gilette 7 O' clock blade as part of a sample pack of blades I got from SirWhiskers (thanks again!) and I ended up cutting myself on the blade. Generally I would never clean my razor and then polish it with a blade in there.
Well I went to use the blade today and it was the worst shave of my life. I know a lot of people like this blade but I just found it to be horrible...the blade just felt dull and was tearing out hairs left and right. I actually ended up switching out the blade because I was tired of my hairs getting pulled out rather than cut as they should have been. I'm taking this as a message from the shaving gods to never use this blade again. What do u guys think??

I believe they were green but I'll have to run back home to check after work today.

Once a blade has tasted blood, I get rid of it. They only crave more and more.

I get great results from the Green from India, I just bought a hundred of them and a hundred of the Black.
I've never tried the Yellow or the Green from Russia so I can't speak to those, but I am informed by others that the Greens from Russia are identical to the Indian ones.
Razor Blades are a real YMMV thing, what is heaven to one guy is anathema to another. It can also vary greatly depending on the razor you use, so a blade may not feel right in one razor, but work well in another.
In any case, sorry to hear you had some problems with them.

That is why SE shaving scares me. If I can cut myself this easily with a DE blade, I'm sure I'd accidently kill myself with a SE blade.

I had a similar experience with the green pack. Terrible shave and the blade actually rusted inside my razor after one use. never went back again.

Glad its not only me. I have heard so many good things about these blades and they were just horrible for me. I guess this is just another thing regarding what blades work with what razor, face type, water type in your area, etc.

What razor were you using? I'm curious because I'm currently really liking the yellows.
