Am I the only one that has noticed a fault in displaying last post details in SG's?

When I have a look in my User CP at the Subscribed Social Groups section it shows who the last post was made by and in which thread, however, this is always wrong. For example I could show up as last poster in a thread I have never posted in. :001_huh:Curious and curiouser...

It seems you may be correct. :001_huh:

Bit of a PITA but nothing too major. I am sure someone on the vB forums will now how to sort it.

I am a member of the "Southern Gentlemen" Social Group and I just noticed that all traces of the group have been erased. I believe there were over 20 members. What happened?

If there is no activity for 90 days in a group it deletes.

That's strange, because there are some groups that have not had a post in nearly two years that are still active. There is evidently a glitch somewhere.

Rich there was a post in the old badgers yesterday- and the vets had one today- Where are you getting this info?

The "oldest" last social group post I can find is 7-7-10

I am going to "Social Groups" under the "Community Tab".

What are you looking at Rich- last activity?
If you open "View all groups" on the top right you can toggle the "last post" The oldest last post activity in the social groups is 7-7-10.

Jim, I am going to the " view all groups" and toggling the "last post" and then scrolling down the page and looking at each individual Social Group and the dates are the same as I have stated. I believe the 7-07-10 date is just for that first Social Club.

Jim... Pal is correct, I'm just wondering if having to be a member if the group to see the posts affects the last posting date

I also believe they show up in the correct spot as of last post... it's just the date that appears wacky

Thanks, Brian, I thought I was going crazy there for a minute. It may be that the mods have a different view of the Social Groups than we do. But it sure is strange that some of the dates that show up as "last Post" are today's date and some are a lot older even though we know that posts were made after that date. Does that make sense? Heck, I think I confused myself there.

This of course is just a guess, but it seems that the only groups that appear that way are the groups that require membership to view the posts... Now if you look at the ladies Shavers I believe the last post date was october 2009....this is probably the first post date of the group. Vets are 1/2009... although the New Jersey shavers are today. Of the 3 groups the Jersey Shavers is the only unrestricted group for reading posts and not being a member..... Mods have no restrictions ???? so they see all the dates ???????

Shave sticks instead of a stick of butter for the bread?

Just have to comment that my wife mentioned bacon bread today, bacon chopped up in it and using bacon grease instead of butter.

Don't worry. I didn't. The bread was fantabulous, as usual. :biggrin1:
