It's right next to my adams's apple.. and I ALWAYS get it there. Witch hazel takes care of anything else, but I seem to always get it in that one spot. I shave with the grain etc..
my gear :
merkur 33c classic
tabaca shaving soap
boar brush
israeli reds(ive shaved with merkur, astra and i still have the problem with those)
Any tips:(?

My biggest trouble spot is in the middle of my adam's apple, so I feel your pain. The only things I can think of to tell you are to use as light and as few strokes as possible and maybe try a few more brands of blades. Hopefully somebody will come along with better tips for you.

mantic suggests swallowing to get the adams apple to flatten, and then "holding" the swallow position while shaving it.
The only thing that I can think of is to stretch the skin a bit to create a flat surface.

Maybe try a pre shave product or go with Feather or Derby blades. Doing both of those worked for me!:thumbup1:

+1, I do a lot of moving my skin around on my chin, the hairs grow in every direction imaginable.

I find that the direction of shave doesn't so much apply to my Adam's apple: I just go in with very short strokes, trying to keep a shallow angle, without regard to the direction of the supposed pass I'm on. It has stopped being a problem, as has straight razor shaving in general, almost miraculously.

This is what I do and it works. This is the ONLY way I can get smooth skin with a straight around my adam's apple and it works with a DE/SE too.

In a drunken stuper I find slightly stretching the skin covering the adams apples to the left and/or to the right helps quite a lot. That way you are not shaving over the odd diamond shape of your adams apple.

Check ur angle at that specific point. And try to go in less aggressive, in other words, increase the angle

I stretch the skin on the neck but can still have an occasional razor burn if I hurry or put pressure on the blade.
