Dead Man Walking (P160) Contest at BullGoose Shaving

The rumors of P160s demise ended up being true and the fear that this is merely a forboding of the coming shavocalypse has wet shavers in a tizzy. I have decided to throw one lucky wet shaver a lifeline....a 1kg (2.2 lb) brick of the now discontinued P160 Tipo Duro which should be enough to last for years. :w00t:

No purchase is necessary to win. There are two ways to enter the contest.

1) Write "Dead Man Walking" and your B & B screen name in the comments section of your order

or

2)Mail a 3x5 index card with your name, mailing address, and B & B screen name to:

I'm sitting here looking at and smelling my P.160 samples and mourning that I will not see them anymore when I use them up. Especially the Morbido Tipo. I love that cherry-almond scent. :sad:

It is my understanding that both are disappearing and in fact have not actually been produced since late 2009.

Thanks all, especially Phil. That is one honking large chunk of soap, Phil even recalled I was the only one who ever asked for a Vetiver sample & included that, wrapped separately of course.

Very nice gesture, it smells great, not sure I can use it up before the 36 month expiration date ..

If you want a good tub to put all that in at once pick a Pyrex 6 cup container garyg. A 4 cup just barely fits a kilo of Cella and it would be easier to get it all in a 6 cup. Oh and grab a big brush. :laugh::thumbup1:

Ack not good breaking a brush! Is it recommended placing the stuff in the fridge? Never seen any mention of that on the packaging for the Cella at least.

I just read somewhere hereabouts that the fridge (maybe the freezer) would slow the deterioration of the soaps/creams with tallow. Makes sense, works with critters that have tallow in them .. :001_smile

Folks, I will never be able to use it all, freezer or no, I have a PIF in that section if you want to throw in for some shares of this whale. Thanks again to Phil & Bullgoose Shaving :thumbup:
