How many other people use these? I have the smaller, 2 cup glass one. Works great, but green teas are a bit hit or miss. I'd love to have the 34oz cast iron version with a stainless steel infuser, but the nearly $100 price tag is ridiculous have a look! I haven't really had much luck with Bodum teapots, although I do love their french press. With that in mind, I've heard conflicting reports of using cast iron teapots. I have the IngenuiTEA (http://www.adagio.com/gifts/holiday_ingenuiTEA.html?SID=4c77115ea5c7f12f785203 45b9529c08) by Adagio, and much less than $100.

It seems like Adagio puts out some great teaware. My thing about tea/coffeeware is that most of it is glass. I can't do glass. I'm WAY too clumsy (just broke my Bodum French Press a few weeks ago, that's why I'm using the Assam). That's the main reason I want something made of metal. Stainless would be good too, but I'd be afraid it would cool too quickly.

I completely hear you. That's one of the reasons I love the IngenuiTEA. It is plastic.

But the IngenuiTEA is only single serving right?

Mine does two good size mugs, or one gigantic mug. I guess I didn't think about how many people you'd be serving. You can also go over to Teachat.com. They have a section for discussing teaware. It's sponsored by Adagio, but they don't have too big a hand in it, so it's not like only Adagio products are discussed. Quite the opposite, actually.
