After waiting for weeks for the package to clear customs, I have finally received my 2nd box of Klar products and have added Klar Kabinett Soap (http://www.bullgooseshaving.net/klkashso5.html) to my store.

Klar Kabinett soap is a Rose scented shaving soap that is/was very popular with German barbers. Unlike the Italian Barber's Soaps, the Kabinett soap is a fairly hard soap and is presented in two 250g bars. You can treat the bars as you would a large shave stick or you can load your brush directly from the bar. Regardless of how you choose to use the Kabinett soap, you will be rewarded with mounds of rich, slick and cushioning lather.

There are two different Klar shaving soaps -the Klar Kabinett Soap and the Klar Seifen Klassik Shaving soap in a tin. The Kabinett Soap comes packaged as two 250g sticks (think over sized sticks of butter) for a total weight of 500g. The Klar Seifen shave soap comes in a cylindrical tin with a 70mm Diameter and a depth of 36mm. The net weight of the Klar Klassik soap is 110g.

The Klar Sandalwood is not a straight sandalwood. I detect citrus and other woodsy scents (perhaps cedarwood). It is a light fragrance.

Phil is the best I have ever dealt with. I sent him and another vendor emails asking for brush recommendations. Phil responded quickly with great answers so I ordered from him on 11/30. Today 12/02 I got my Colonel 2XL brush and Proraso ASB. I also got my email answer from the other vendor, You snooze you loose. Phil included a sample of Cella which I currently use and a klars kabinett soap - can't wait to try it.
