I have had this Luminox for years and have literally beat the snot out of it. I mountain bike, backpack, hike, swim, and do everything with this watch and it has held up better than any watch I have ever had but in the end it just couldn't take it anymore. By the time I had sent it into the repair shop the numbers on the bezel had worn off completely, the crystal was cracked and battery was dead and I was afraid of water intrusion because I was backpacking when I cracked the crystal. In fact it got cracked because I slipped in a creek and smacked on a rock.
Now as watches go, this isn't an expensive watch so replacing it would not have been a huge expense, but simply more than I wanted to spend at the moment. So I sent it into the one and only authorized repair center in North America (Rhode Island) expecting not so much.
I got it back today after having sent it a month ago and to my surprise the thing looks brand new. I'm thrilled to have it back and in such good condition.
