Coming home from shopping today and stopped in a little antique store and picked these up! I probably paid a little much($12 Razor and $6 blade box)but I really wanted the blade box for my travel kit. The razor was an impulse but definitly mint. J1 I think chromed brass handle, to heavy to be aluminum, still has the original paper spacer to keep the head and plate separated. Didn't need it but...

Looks awesome! I think you should try out one of those Personna blades and see how they shave.
