Must be good I can't find any:huh:
Do any of you know where I could get 5-10 to try?

I don't know how these: http://www.amazon.com/Personna-Platinum-Chrome-Double-Package/dp/B000XQBQVS/ref=sr_1_fkmr0_1?ie=UTF8&qid=1281038522&sr=1-1-fkmr0
compare, but they're currently my go-to blades before I start my sampler. The sharks and derbys cut me up and these are holding up awesome, and theyre stocked at walmart

they're a very different blade. those are good, they're what I (and probably many others) started with, but the Red Packs are in a different league.

Bullgoose has some (or at least they appear in stock). Also, to ad confusion: I have been using Crystals lately - love 'em. Great shave, nice longevity. And made in the Israel ASR plant! See John from WCS thread here (http://badgerandblade.com/vb/showthread.php?t=51858) for more info... I definitely think the Crystals are worth checking out.
Turns out nobody knows where the "real" red Personnas come from. Bizarre but true.
I also started this thread (http://badgerandblade.com/vb/showthread.php?t=161015) that has many great recommendations for blades to try.

Good to know.
Reason I'm looking is I got some Derbys awhile back and they were smooth and sharp enough but the last 30 I got have been down right nasty and nice and nothing in between.
I've had a few blades in two packs that make me miss the Merkurs I first got.
I'm going to Order some Crystals, Astra Platinum and some Iridium Supers from west coat shaving. I Wanted to try the Personnas to even it out.
I'm still real new to all this and maybe I just got a bad pack or two of 'em but still once bitten twice shy.
When I first got my razor I bought some feather blades, Derby blades and some Merkurs.
The Merkurs where like shaving with a bowie knife and the feathers were really sharp which is a good thing but abit harsh on the old mug could of been my lack of form (which is getting allot better) then. and the Derbys where smooth and sharp enough to get through the stubble so I bought 30 more Glad I did not by 100 *lol* live and learn.
Thanks for your help.

Definitely looking forward to your thoughts on the inbound blades.
I am going to order some of the Astra and Iridiums myself. Have been using the Crystals and as mentioned think they are a very good blade for me.

For the longest time I didn't buy these becauseI didn't want to use anything made in Israel (for political reasons) but I broke down and got a pack in the mail today. I'm looking forward to trying them tonight or tomorrow, in the hope that I can find a blade that's a perfect mate for my Feather All Stainless.
