Greetings to All,
My Name is Trevor and I'm a Barber in Boise, Idaho. I own a shop called Tradition Barber Shop that should be opening in about 30 days or so. I thought I would join this forum to share my knowledge of the Blade and to learn from others too. Feel Free to ask me anything and If I do not know it I will try my hardest to find out for you.

Peace and Grease

Welcome.

Do you use straight edged razors to shave your customers ?

The reason I ask is that I treated myself and went into a barbershop and asked for a shave, hoping for the whole routine, towels, strop, shave, etc.

Color me surprised when he whipped out a DE.

Was still a good shave, but no better than what I could do myself.

I was very disappointed.

Welcome! I am sure that I can drum up some questions for you. Post some pics of the shop when you can - I am a fan of barbershop experiences and in fact frequent a local shop here in Austin for the old 3 on the sides, finger length with scissors on top every two weeks!

Hey Trev,

What part of town are you opening up in? My fam lives in Boise so I might stop by on a visit. Always looking for a good haircut from good people.
