Hello,

Could somebody with an Emperor 3 please post a picture of it with something to give an idea of scale, please.

I have one of these brushes coming but it's only just ordered yesterday evening and I would like to see how it looks for a new wooden brush stand I am going to make. I could use this help now to give me an idea of size as I'm off work this week and can get the basics started before it arrives.

Things I have here which would be great to see it scaled beside would be brushes like an Edwin Jagger medium, a Chubby 1 or a Rooney 3/1. I also have the razors which would give me an idea, Merkur Futur & 38C and a Feather. Or beside a tub of Taylor's aftershave gel or Tabac balm, maybe

A picture of the Emperor with any of these brushes and razors or similar sized objects would be really great to get me started planning out a design.

Cheers,

Mark

Superior shave has a standard photography method for brushes, which might help you get the scale. They also provide measurements, although the actual brushes will probably vary.

If I am looking at Superior's diagram of the Emperors correctly, the data they list for the Emperor 3 is exactly the same as the Emperor 2 - despite the obvious difference in the photograph. Think maybe some typos in there.

Some good pictures there, thank you. I can get an idea from the juice tins themselves as well as judging between the Emperor and the Chubby.

The only thing I see maybe wrong there are the specs. They have the same details repeated over from the smaller Emperor 2 brush. But I've already checked them on Bullgoose & West Coast Shaving so it's not important for me. EDIT: Snap with John above, we both spotted that!

It's a nice looking big brush when you see it in the various pictures. I'm looking forward to getting it sunk into some soap :w00t:
