Good Afternoon!
I started off shaving with a DeLong Shaving Brush (marked as such in an oval, with China, DeLong). The handle has separated from the bristle end (the knot?) I've tried to hot glue the handle back in place but it won't hold. Any suggestions? Also, the brush tends to shed a few bristles each time I use it. Is that normal, or is this just a poor quality brush?
Respectfully,
Fritz

ideally your brush won't shed at all, but occasionally there are loose hairs that hide inside the knot that come out over time. how old is the brush?
as for returning the knot to its rightful place, 5 minute 2 part epoxy is widely used around here. i've done a few brush restores with it and i was highly satisfied.

The brush is only a year or two old. I was cleaning out my shaving cup (last of the Naval Coffee cups I own) and found lots of loose hairs in there. Maybe my lather making technique is too aggressive? I also get one or two when I lather up.
I have some JB Weld here at the house. Maybe I'll try that...
Thanks!
Fritz
