I wanted to introduce myself as I've been lurking and have made some purchases here on the BST board. I started DE shaving about a month ago with a Merkur 23C (180), Tweezerman Brush, Prorasso shave soap, and Clubman AS.

I quickly moved to 1955 SS which I now prefer over the Merkur and now I superlather with the Prorasso and TOBS Eton College or TOBS Lemon & Lime. Its made a task that I've hated for my entire life into something I enjoy and look forward to every morning.

Thanks to everyone for posting their stories and tips. I've used the search function many times on this forum and have learned much.

Funny, last night I lathered up with proraso for the first time in a couple months (stuck in a T&H 1805 mode, I guess), and it was refreshing. Maybe I'll do that again, tonight.
