If anyone is in need of an extra team in their FF league let me know. My local group has decided not to have our league this year. I love to play, but don't have many friends that are into it. Prefer money league over free (because players stay involved all season).

I've participated in Yahoo! and ESPN.com leagues. I don't know about any other mediums. If anyone wants to volunteer to make the league, say so in here. If no one else volunteers by the weekend, I'll make it in Yahoo!

Here's my idea for settings: Yahoo! league, Live Online Draft (I will try and make it for a Sunday evening, as I think that will be the time most people will be able to get in), default Yahoo! scoring settings, head to head (meaning we play games team against team with wins and losses, as opposed to having our teams ranked by points).

Please let me know if you have any other suggestions. I'll make it this evening.

My thought is that the live draft should be AFTER the pre season, since marquee players sometimes get injured in the preseason and then you have to have them sit on your roster all season long.

Your post made me laugh. I just finished my homework for statistics, which is all about taking data and representing it in pictorial form. I come in here and you've given me a bunch of information and represented it with a calendar, which was actually very helpful, because my brain is fried and I couldn't figure out what you were talking about. :thumbup1:

Also, I know that the draft is a lot more fun when everybody shows, so by all means, try to attend. Howevah....if you have an anniversary dinner, ceremony, job opportunity, paid assassination, child's little league game, dancing lessons or birth of your first born to attend, just rate players ahead of time and Yahoo will fill a roster for you. It might turn out bad, but then I went deep in the playoffs last year with a team that auto-drafted.:biggrin1: No need to be upset or feel unloved.

I unfortunately had a pressing dinner engagement that came up on draft night, but I'm pretty happy with my team. All except for the fact that autodraft picked two kickers....Still, I'm really excited and will DEFINITELY participate.

All good...regarding the NFL playoffs...it's going to be a wild ride that's for sure...no one has really it locked up yet. I certainly thought the Charger's were going to be sitting well on top of their division...and they have been nothing short of disappointing.

Now... "If" I happen to win this thing...I am open to suggestions as to the winner of the knife.
Automatically go to the 1st place looser... or... should I do a lottery with it...giving everyone a shot at it? I know this should have been established prior to the season...but I/we got kind of a late "jump" on this.

I agree. Serious kudos to you for offering up a prize at all. It was very generous. However, there's no reason for you to feel compelled to give away such a nice knife twice.

If you do shave with it though, I'd like to see. Just don't kill or maim yourself. We'd all be partly to blame.
