Jerry:

Originally I thought you were looking for a fatboy with a blue tip, but since that razor doesn't exist, I assume you're looking for a fatboy as well as a blue tipped superspeed, is that correct?

Yup, two entirely different razors.

or dip it in this (http://www.usplastic.com/catalog/variant.asp?catalog%5Fname=USPlastic&category%5Fname=19349&product%5Fid=2363&variant%5Fid=38051), so it'll have a rubber grip, and match your genuine channel-locks to boot!

Sorry if we came off as harsh or anything - it's difficult to make comedic remarks about something as obscure as safety razors from 50 years ago

(and some day, I promise I *will* have a channel-lock matching razor - so manly!!)

If you'd like to find a Fat boy (my favorite razor so far) I'd suggest either watching the buy/sell/trade forum on this site, checking out ebay, or going around to your local antique shops.

To find one on the cheap at the latter 2 options, you'll have to clean it up a bit (which isn't too difficult) and keep a sharp eye. Ebay auctions that actually advertize as a fat boy just skyrocket, so I check around auctions for all gillettes and see if a fat boy comes up under the radar.

The easiest way to tell it's a fat boy model is to look at the twist-to-open knob on the bottom of the handle... if you compare the two knobs in the sticky thread at the top of this forum (gillette razor sampler) you can see a marked difference that shows up in even crappy photos...

Good luck!
