Picked up this Guteclare from a seller in Austria.
Takes standard DE blades. Closed comb guard.
Brass handle. Not sure what the head is made of, it is non-magnetic.
Handle/head assembly marked D.R.G.M.
Cap, and both clips marked GUTECLÄRE D.R.G.M. SCHUTZMARKE
Case has Gutecläre script.
The cap is held in place by the clips, which slide on from each end.

Very cool. Can we see it with a blade loaded? It looks almost like there will be little to no blade curvature.

Crazy looking head! Very interesting find, and I am also curious to see it with a blade.

I really like the guards. Looks like the closed edge never actually comes in contact with the face, so it would perform like an open comb as well as protecting the teeth from being bent!

A razor that isn't in the Waits Safety Razor Compendium. Excellent!

Very little curvature. Very little room between teeth and blade.

That was my motivation for a more in depth posting. :001_smile
