When an Aristocrat is not a Gillette

Found this sweet little guy in a shop on the west coast when I was there last week. An Aristocrat that is definitely not a Gillette, but is playing off the name and the Gillette diamond. Cool razor and in very good shape. But the package itself was worth the price of $4! Anyone else ever seen this variant and know any details?

I don't know anything about it, but, as you suggested, the usage of the name 'Aristocrat' in addition to the diamond sure seems to hint at an imitation of Gillette. How does it shave?

It shaves very mild for an OC model, but that may be due to its light weight and size.

Interesting razor. I like the two piece handle. Very cool. I say it is well worth what you paid for it, if it shaves decently. Any copyright or trademark issues are irrelevant unless you own Gillette stock. Enjoy!
