Gentlemen's Best Soap

I got a puck of this recently in a small BST purchase. Signature scent. I was really interested in the other two items it came with and figured I would just pass this off after the fact. Well, when I got the goods this puck had a very fresh scent. A lot like baby powder, but pretty pleasing and certainly not offensive. I thought maybe I should give it a run before I got rid of it so I lathered it up and got a really good lather from a short load onto a PJ3. In all it was a good shave. So I decided to give a fair shake and mashed it into the bottom of a shave mug so I could get a better load next time(it came in a Cella tub from the seller). Well, this morning I loaded the PJ up a little more and DAMN, I got a ton of thick, rich, moist lather. Bowl lathered both times btw. The shave was fantasic, and I will NOT be getting rid of this soap. It has made the rotation(for now):lol: I later looked it up as I was not really familiar with the brand other than knowing about it being Third Eye Ray's venture and a reference to SCS. Well, I must say that the whole line is very reasonable in price and if you haven't already, it is worth the effort to give the GB products a look. I can only speak for the soap of course, but even if it's just for that then there is some fantastic value to be had.

Really, any soap even remotely associated with Sue at SCS is bound to be a good soap, IME.:thumbup1:

I'll haven't tried some of the soap yet, but the GB "Chilled" aftershave splash is awesome. A nice cold finish to a summer shave. :biggrin:

The soaps are Ray's formulation and are utterly fantastic.... I use GB signature and Chilled for 99.9 percent of my shaves.. the other .1 % is the KMF or GB cream that I add for Superlather
