Up for sale is a great Vie-Long silvertip brush.

The brush was originally the 50/50 Horse/Badger brush which had far too much backbone for my liking. I re-knotted Vie-Long's top of the line handle with a 22mm silvertip knot from Tony at The Golden Nib. It is now a dense and luxurious brush that still has enough backbone for soaps. I really like it, but need to make some room for other things. I am selling this for essentially what I paid for the original brush and new knot, plus a few bucks for shipping.

$65 shipped CONUS via Priority Mail box. SOLD

That is one sweetheart of a handle! If I wasn't already knee deep in brushes...

I've got this handle on a Vie Long. The white you see in the clear part of the handle is a layer of solid white that runs in a random pattern through the clear. Thus every handle is slightly different. They are quite handsome.

What's the loft?

What's the loft?

It is a 22mm knot with a 49mm loft. I used it a couple times to face lather both a soap and a cream and it works equally well for both. I would imagine it is a fine bowl latherer as well.
