Greetings and good evening fellow shavers!
New here, but not to wetshaving. I am in my mid-fifties, started DE shaving about 1969/1970 (it's a haze!). Fell victim to teh multi-blade hype with the Trac II, and didn't look up (or wake up!) until about 18 months ago. Fell victim to all the buying disorders you can imagine, and have now settled into a decent kit and routine...shaving is more enjoyable than ever, and I look forwad to the routine erevy day.
Current kit:
Razors: A few superseeds (flare tip, red tip), slotted '40's or '50's vintage SS some Techs, slim adjustable, Krona and a Merkur 38C
Blades: Last 3 packs of Swede's (bummer), a few hundred Wilkinsons (not bad!)
Brushes: Colonel X2L (new, nice), C&E BBB and a Tweezarman badger (don't laugh...it's a great brush, hasn't lost a hair in 2 years).
Creams/soaps: Coates sandalwood (love it!), TOBS sandalwood (yes, a theme) some AOS, Trumpers tubes, a few others, Cella, and C&E sandalwood, and a lone puck of Williams
Aftershaves: AOS sandalwood gel, Speick splash, Nivea, a couple from Honeybee Gardens
So, that's me. See you on the boards. Sorry for the long post!
