FS: Rolls Razor Imperial No. 2 -- Shave Ready

Thinning out my herd of Rolls! This is one of the nicer ones I have come across.

I have refurbished the stopping mechanism as well as the hone and strop. I have applied TI strop paste which is why you see the dark color on the strop (can't find any Rolls paste!). If you prefer, I can remove it and put another Rolls strop in there without the TI paste. I have found it maintains the blade very well.. makes it sharp and smooth. No cracks on the hone, no cuts on the strop and it is pliable and flat.

The blade is in excellent shape. The safety bar clicks as it should. There is some spotting under where the handle attaches but this does not effect the shave in any way. The blade edge is very sharp and smooth, no nicks/chips/rust.

The blue case is in very nice shape, just some normal minor wear. The nickel plated case is excellent as well. No plate loss or damage. Everything opens and closes as it should.

Includes the instruction manual as well. Needs nothing, just follow the instructions and shave! Will ship it properly so the hone will not be damaged.

About 2 hours spent to bring the blade shave ready, and another 2 hours on the rest of the unit. If you want a red strop, that is no problem, I can put a red strop on it! The TI paste turns black after stropping on these which is not too attractive, but it is more effective than the red paste.

Nice deal. I have the exact same set with the blue case and all. I love mine. The original owner bought it in 1953. I have the receipt to prove it!
