leaking pen :(

Ok with all these fp threads popping up, i need some suggestions. About 2-3 years ago I bought a fp, a cross century ii, I quit using it bc it leaked all the time in my pocket, so is it the ink or the converter or what? btw all i have ever used in was the private reserve velvet black ink that came with it. Thanks in advance for suggestions, bc I would really love to get some good use out of this pen.

Sorry to hear that. You ought to send the pen into Cross for repairs - they have a lifetime warranty.

I used to use a Cross Ttanium fountain pen and switched to the cartridges. I didn't have any leak problems with them.

+1 to sending your Cross to the manufacturer for repairs. There's no reason that pen should leak with cartridges or the converter.
