B&B 2009 LE Brushes Are In!
UPDATE HERE (http://badgerandblade.com/vb/showpost.php?p=2082886&postcount=116)
That's right, you guys have waited, with the patience of monks, and having taken a gander at a few of the 2009s, I'm pretty sure you'll find it worth the wait.
Without further ado, IF you bought the gift certificate and reserved your 2009 LE in Butterscotch or Ebony months ago, you can now redeem that gift certificate, by ordering the appropriate brush, and using the certificate code at checkout.
If you did not pre-order this brush, keep an eye out on the BST, or keep checking back for the next limited edition.
Click here to order the Butterscotch LE (http://badgerandblade.com/shop/product.php?productid=16148&cat=249)
Click here to order the Ebony LE (http://badgerandblade.com/shop/product.php?productid=16149&cat=249)
Please note that these should start shipping in about a week, but there are a LOT of brushes to ship. We'll do our best to get your brush to you as quickly as possible.
Thanks everyone!

I don't recall if shipping was included in the original price. I ordered one of each and my gift certificate is for $280, checkout is saying I still need $10 more for shipping. Should I just paypal out that last $10?
Woo Hoo they are here!!

Looks like I miscalculated my certificate amount by $9.08. When I go to pay the remaining balance by paypal, the security feature kicks in.
The only reason I post this publicly is I'm guessing I'm not the only one to make this mistake.
Edit: I stand validated. Posted while I was typing!

Was having a few problems at first as I couldn't log in, so I shrug it off as I forgot my password so I try to get my password sent to me with no dice. I was about to send in an e-mail then it hit me what the words said and it was like my e-mail address didn't even exist, so I tried to register and went through and then checked out with no problems. And I agree Bullgoose! Nice way to start the week! :thumbup1:

Yes, I have this problem as well, price has gone up since we ordered. I have checked my paypal and it was paid but I dont have a certificate per se - did you get a number that you put in where it says Payment Details
Edit - Found my Certificate number but still cant proceed as the certificate was for $165 and now the bill is for $170?

I redeemed my certificate around 5:15AM (cdt) this morning. What was I up at that time for? Elliptical trainer for 30 minutes. I have been nearly obsessing over this brush purchase and wanted to be one of the first ones to use the certificate. I certainly wasn't first but I was in the first wave!

I was one of the lucky gents who got the last round of extra butterscotch brushes. However, I have been unlucky in trying to order.
1. I can't find a gift certificate number on my email receipt.
2. The store couldn't find me as a registered user via my email address where I received the receipt.
3. There's no other way to look up an order, apparently, from my side
4. I had to "re-register" in order to try and place the order, where I'm stuck with no gift certificate number (but an email receipt and PayPal receipt proving I paid)
5. I over-estimated shipping by $2. My happy donation, however, if this gets fixed and the brush is shipped to me.

Sounds like those who ordered 2 or more brushes were only charged a $10 fee for shipping, instead of $10 per brush ordered for shipping. That's probably done on purpose, since it wouldn't cost an extra $10 to toss another brush in the same shipping box as the first brush... but the Shopping Cart looks like it's not able to remove the $10 shipping charge per brush, hence the $10 "short" it's seeing on some gents' orders.
I'm sure the Mod Team will get it squared away quickly. Thanks to Joel and Nick for making this one happen!!

I'm also having problems logging in. I have tried using the password recovery, using the user name and password that is automatically sent to my email, I get either an invalid user name or password message or I have to input a security code. Inputing the security code does nothing other then reload the security code. I can also see a message telling me that I need to enable java scripts. I have java scripts enabled. This is probably the case; maybe instead of gift certs, we actually just bought the brushes outright and don't need to do anything extra. That's certainly what my email receipt looks like, but we need confirmation on that.

Just my completely uneducated 2 cents:
The cart thinks you owe it ($135 * 2) + ($10 * 2) = $290. $145 (which includes shipping) for each brush. When people *created* the gift certificate, it saw the multiple brush orders as a single order, and $10 shipping was charged ($280 total).
Now that you have to actually *add* the brushes to your cart, it's adding them as $135 + $10 each brush, so 2 brushes = $290 when added... but the gift certificate is only for $280.
Nick, Jim et. al. will get it fixed post haste. They're good like that. :001_smile

WHEW! Navigating that order process was scary! But I finally got through and succesfully completed my order! For those having problems, note that if you have not ordered before, you have to register first. I just used the same id and pwd as my B&B accoubnt, but you do have to register first. It is a separate thing from your B&B account! Then follow the checkout, put in your gift certificate number and voila! you have made it! When I first placed my order (last December), I wrote down my gift certificate number and placed it in a secure place so I wouldn't forget it! I think that is what a lot of guys are having problems with....they cannot access their gift certificate number! This should be somewhere in the shopping cart's database, so hopefully can be retrieved?
Thanks to all who worked on this project and I am really looking forward to that brush! I have had a Kent BK8 for two years and it is great, but I look forward to a slighl=tly smaller and firmer knot.

SSultan,
Baron's suggestion is a good one. I looked at my old emailsand found the order confirmation email from B&B, and it had the certificate number on it! For those who purchased the "extra" brushes, the process will most likely be different. So those who bought their brush the past 3 months or so (this should only be a handful of people) should just wait for Joel/Nick to update the order process for your circumstance.
Mr. Scruffy
05-11-2010, 09:16 AM
Not there Harry...
I'm talking about the invoice you can print from your order history in the B&B shopping cart. Is that what you are looking at?
It should be there, that's how I got my certificate number because I never received the emails.
I apologize if this is redundant:
Click on the appropriate link Nick posted in this thread. A new window will open. On the right hand side will be a grey box titled "your cart". In that box is a link for "orders history". Click on that link, you will be asked to log in (should be your B&B user name and password). Specify the date range (select "all") and click on search. Your order will appear, click on the order number link and the invoice should appear with your gift certificate number.
If you're already doing this and you still can't get your invoice then... I don't know what to tell you. Sorry.

I will go home and carve through my saved mails...I'm pretty sure if memory serves me that I only recieved one email at the time of my order and it was basically a text dump from my online invoice and I did not see a gift certificate number on there...
I'm hoping Joel/Nick will be able to help with resolving this...getting antsy now that you all are placing your orders and I can't seem to make progress!!!! My butterscotch wants to be united with it's owner...

I'm not at all happy with this process as my PayPal account sent money to B&B via instant transfer, thus B&B has been holding these funds since 12-23-06 and now I have to fill out another form with another payment made to X Cart. I don't think so.
Now I could say that B&B should just send me the brush for which they have my payment and my address from the PayPal transaction, but I won't because whatever records B&B has for these brushes are apparently inadequate for this purpose.
I don't like doing business this way as I think it's bordeline unethical. So before I become really abusive and get chastized by some pusilanimous moderator, I'm outta here. Keep the damn brush.

05-11-2010, 10:18 AM
Not user error...it appears that some of us didn't get the all important gift certificate #'s to accompany our invoices or emails...hence the frustration.

Wow.
Ok, first of all we have not been "holding the money" since 2006, this is a 2009 brush.
Second, when you place a custom order with a manufacturer - they don't just make it in good faith and make $50K+ worth of custom brushes - crossing their fingers we'll follow through... you have to pay for it IN FULL, and when the order is placed. No one has been "holding onto your money" at all, that's preposterous.
Third, we aren't a store, we aren't a retailer and we do not have complex systems in place - we use a free shopping cart system (but we're more than happy to use a more suitable one, if you're willing to fork over a few grand). When you buy a gift cert - it's just that - a GIFT cert, forcing it to ship to the purchaser doesn't make sense to/for the system - and with an order this large - a good % of the folks have moved since placing the order, which would cause a litany of issues. This is something we do/offer to help the group - we're going to be shipping 400ish brushes ourselves, which will literally take us a week of busting our tails, we spent countless hours working with the manufacturer, getting the brush, answering fellas questions, etc.
Fourth, sorry to see you go, but you've just made someone happy in freeing up another brush. Since you've asked us to keep it, we'll consider the monies from the brush as a contribution, and i've just upgraded you to a gold contributor. Thanks!

Seems pretty reasonable to me. You purchase a gift certificate, in other words, you pay for a special order item. Its not uncommon that you have to pay in advance for a custom item, so it doesn't seem unreasonable to me.
The "holding these funds since 12-23-06" is, I'm going to guess, more like Kent has been holding the funds. Again, not unreasonable considering they are making a special, to-order run of brushes.
Finally, you have to claim the brush. It seems to me that, given the wait period, this allows for changes of address (which several people have said is the case), or changes in situation. I can see advantages to either using the existing address or redeeming the certificate. However, considering that this is being arranged by people who are not being compensated, I think the advantages are tipped in favor of redeeming the certificate.
No part of this was kept secret, downplayed, or otherwise withheld from the forum. In fact, I would say that there was a more than healthy amount of discussion. The ordering window was just that: a window. In case a buyer wanted to research the LE process and, for some reason, had not gotten the chance before the ordering window.
I'm sorry that you've come this far, and feel that you are being treated unfairly. However, I also think that you are in the minority. I hope that you will take a step back, and take another look at this situation. If you still feel you are being treated unfairly, and do not want to claim your brush, I hope you will release it to another member.
Edit #1: Joel responded while this was being written. If the mods think it inappropriate, please remove.

Joel, any help for those of us who don't have a gift cert number? I think I did what you indicated I should when you offered the last-call brushes (remember my numerous PM's?) but I don't have anything to redeem. I do have a receipt (from x-store and paypal).
Would really appreciate guidance.

I think this attitude is quite unfair to the organizers of this brush buy. The purchase process was spelled out clearly when the order window opened up. If you didn't like the process or terms, you should have passed on the brush. No one is doing business with you. Actually, they are working quite hard for nothing to provide you with a unique opportunity. All you were required to do is follow directions and be patient.
I logged on...tried checking out...need the darn gift certificate....come on Nick/Joel ... help fellas :)
Yowza, that's excitement - calm down bud - we got ya covered. If you didn't get a gift cert #, there's a chance you didn't order it correctly. We'll take a look this evening (remember, we got a lot of fellas pinging us) but if you've paid for a brush - rest assured, you'll get one. We always order a few extras in case there are hiccups/problems with the cart.
The international ones likely won't got out until later this week or early next week (they're a much bigger PITA and we try to do them in a batch) so no worries, you're not falling behind.
Just want to take a moment to thank you, and everyone else for your patience. The fella at Kent we started this project left the company, then the person they set us up with after that left, until the third fella was able to drive this through - so the process took longer than expected. We appreciate your monk-like patience, and rest assured, we're going to have raw/sore hands and working nights to get these suckers out to you fellas as quickly as we can.

If by 'glitch' you mean user error... Not sure how this process is so complicated. I had zero trouble ordering and redeeming the gift certificate. People need to spend more time reading and following directions that are clearly explained... all this other noise is just gumming up the works.
I think that there was some variation due to the extra brushes. I could be wrong. Either way, let's stay positive. The brushes are here, the mods are working overtime, and we are getting ready to receive these brushes. This seems like a pretty positive situation to me!

I imagine the best we can hope for at this stage, any of us, is a general "hang tight, we're workin' it" - but it's helpful to hear, you know? Thanks for the work, Joel and Nick. I predict a lot of tune-changing once we get these things in our hands, eventually.
I am curious at this point if anybody who ordered one of the last-call brushes got a gift certificate number. That would surely prove that I can't follow directions!

Absolutely right! The process was spelled out in detail from the start. Yes, it was rather cumbersome, but no one put a gun to anyone's head and said order or else! The mods did the best they could with the system they had, and it is useless to complain now. While the system is not perfect, neither are the customers! In any case, a new shopping cart system is something I think everyone agrees would be a welcome imnprovement!

Well put, Cheech. Everyone should remember that those who organize this brush (and the entire B&B website) do it for free and probably all have families and day jobs.

Mention of the emails being sent by B&B has paid off. Just had to check my ONLINE RECEIPTS folder and voila: Congratulations! Your order has been successfully placed.:thumbup:
Now the real anticipation begins: Can I start bugging Joel and Nick about them shipping my brush?(you mean it wasn't shipped today?):lol::lol:
After reading all the angst, frustration, and Scottieness("she's heatin' up capn; i don't think she can take any more!) while fretting myself, I have to admit that thoughts of not receiving my brush did not cross my mind.
Joel and Nick are honorable men who devote a lot of time and energy to making B&B the place it has become. As people, we can all understand the desire to have it now-after all, this is what society preaches. In all of my time here, I have yet to see a group buy or proposal that has left the membership holding the bag. how many of us own the BBE, the 2006 LE, or the 1st Kent LE and can say we are/were dissatisfied w/ the outcome of those processes?
For Joel and Nick, B&B is a labor of love(and time, and energy). Let's all take a deep breath, give them a chance to work their magic, and admit that the announcement that the brushes were in has caused us to lose our collective minds! if we do that and continue to exercise patience, we can increase the love side of the equation for Nick and Joel instead of adding to the labor side of it.
We were informed just this morning(I bet there was some discussion as to whether that was the right thing to do rather than waiting until the brushes were ready to be shipped) and it is just now the afternoon here on the East Coast. Let's remember that we are supposed to be gentlemen and not a bunch of convicts rushing the open cell doors of our prison!(even though that sounds like fun....) here endeth the lesson.....

I'VE FOUND ANYTHING WORTHWILD TAKES TIME. I have been extremely busy since November enjoying my second chance at life. Nick and Joel (or) Joel and Nick, (not wanting to slight anyone have been terrific at helping me obtain my gift certificate # since my email was changed and I could no longer view my bell south emails.
I am happy and excited to be receiving my brush and very grateful for everyones hard work to have this deal materialize. By the way, for those who know me and those who don't I am back to my morning run of 5 miles after having the majority of my lung removed in November (against all odds). You gentlemen always remember anything is possible if you JUST DO NOT GIVE UP. Even a nice Kent butterscotch brush:lol:
THANKS GUYS FOR A GREAT JOB
I am Having problems also. When I ordered the gift certificate the price was 135$ for the brush, 30$ for international shipping. So 165$ total. when I go to check out the shipping has changed to 35$ making 170$ total. There is no way to pay the difference. Im stuck. anyone else have this issue to?

Just placed my order and success! Thanks for the opportunity to get an amazing brush at such a great price.
I just went to redeem my gift certificate. All went smoothly until, after entering my gift certificate #, I got this message:
The order total amount is greater than the balance on the gift certificate you have applied. Please select an additional payment method to pay for the remaining amount. You can use any method, including another gift certificate.
Because I purchased 2 brushes, it says I owe an additional $10 for shipping. I'll empty my cart for now but please advise once this glitch has been fixed.
Thanks!

I will say the first time last year it was a bit confusing, however this time I was seasoned and it was a breeze. More important for the money what you get is amazing. The LE2008 is worth much more than I paid for it (please don't take this as a hint to make future brushes more. LOL) and yes I had to wait but let me make this clear, IT WAS WORTH IT. Today when I logged into B&B and got a great surprise that the brush was ready to be ordered. I will gladly wait, however I will be bothering the mail room in my office that when a FedEx package comes it must be hand delivered to me.
Thanks guys for once again giving up so much of your time to bring such quality to your members.

Hahaaa, these limited editions are certainly a labor of love. Nothing like getting home after work, boxing a few brushes preemptively... and logging on to 115 posts in this thread, and 150+ new emails/PMs.
OK, to address some stuff brought up:
If you bought one of the Butterscotch overruns. You BOUGHT one of the Butterscotch overruns. You didn't have to order a gift certificate to redeem at some unknown point in the future. Sit tight, your brush will ship automatically.
Baloosh had it nailed basically... So in short, for those who bought multiple brushes, the shipping charge issue should be fixed.
For those international buyers, the shipping charge issue should be fixed.
If one of the above answers resolves the question/concern in your PM/email to me, please forgive me if I don't respond. :biggrin1:
Brushes are being boxed, but they aren't shipping for a little while (as much as it sucks, my responsibility to GMAC wins out over B&B), so don't worry, you've still got some waiting ahead of ya. You won't miss the boat if you've got an issue that needs resolving, you will get your brush (we've got a ton, you should see the stack, it's quite impressive). Longwinded explanation short - it's going to take some time to dig through all the e-mails and resolve the unique issues.
Thanks for your enthusiasm guys, you're what makes this the best damn forum out there.

Just to echo Joel's sentiments, even though I should be sleeping :001_smile
Coordinating with a wholesaler and setting up distribution channels is an enormously difficult task. Normally, stores purchase accounts payable/accounts receivable software (that costs a lot) and buy a subscription with fedex or UPS, so their shipping is streamlined. That all costs a whole lot of money.
Joel et. al. are selling us these brushes for next to nothing (my Rooney in finest cost a whole lot more, and I've no doubt this will be a much nicer brush), and even allowing for some profit, are still getting us a great deal. Imagine trying to coordinate shipping and import duties with Kent and the customs office, hearing Kent delay shipping from the factory because the right badger hair/glue was delayed from the manufacturer, buy 400+ boxes and related packing supplies, hearing us bitch constantly about how the brushes are taking longer than expected (myself included), and then putting up the order reconciliation page the moment things were ready.
There was an error in the system, because, well, it's free and it lowers the price we all have to pay, and now it looks like people who ordered more than one brush at once will have to wait a bit longer. And we all go worrying again, most of us politely, some of us in a notably different tone.
Come on people. These are good men. They are not going to take your money and run. They have regular jobs, friends and family, and daily obligations to attend to. They are doing this because, in addition to some small profit, they actually care about you all, and want to make the daily shave even more enjoyable. While it's fine to express concern over your brush, for God's sake be polite and respectful. This is not some vast corporation - these are just three or four regular dudes trying to do something cool for us out of the goodness of their hearts. Take a deep breath, count to ten, tell yourself that a few more days of waiting won't kill you, and slow down. Again, it's fine to express concern - I would be too if I had ordered two. Just remember you're dealing with another human being, and treat them as such.
Of course, of course, YMMV, IMHO.

Wow, can't wait to see some pics of these brushes. I can imagine the patience it must take to pull something like this and the B&B Watch off. I know I couldn't handle it, wouldn't want too either. I didn't order one of these brushes but I would still like to thank all the B&B Mods for making this possible. Whenever you come up with some B&B SE razors count me in.

I canīt imagine the efforts you put in to this, but from the small posts in the guestbook im guessing its been quite alot. Im now gonna buy myself some new balms and soaps for the break in of the brush. Hmm...Maybe even a new DE-razor... Thanks again. :001_smile

If you bought one of the Butterscotch overruns. You BOUGHT one of the Butterscotch overruns. You didn't have to order a gift certificate to redeem at some unknown point in the future. Sit tight, your brush will ship automatically.
Thank you, Nick, for confirming that. We will sit tight and shut up now.

Hahaaa, these limited editions are certainly a labor of love. Nothing like getting home after work, boxing a few brushes preemptively... and logging on to 115 posts in this thread, and 150+ new emails/PMs.
OK, to address some stuff brought up:

Thanks for the reply Nick. I'm one of those with a unique issue.
I just hope you don't ship/pack up the one brush I already paid for with my certificate without packing the one that I'm unable to pay for with the certificate due to my mistakes as well as the sales tax I have to pay (b/c of change of address).

I sent you an e-mail on my address update for shipping. Since I'm no longer at the address I posted on Pay Pal to have the brush shipped to, I would not want the brush to get lost or be sent back to you or the Mods.
Thanks again for all your hard work and I appreciate all the work that went into making this event happen.

While I appreciate you "taking this one", I believe you might have missed the point - I was simply offering a defense of the position of caring about when the brushes might arrive.
But I appreciate you re-iterating a previously mentioned timeframe, prior to recent events which likely narrow that timeframe a bit.

Oh no, I completely understood. Just to remove any possibility of disappointment, anyone wanting a timeframe would be well-advised to set the expectation at 6 months. Or better yet, prepare oneself for an even BETTER surprise and set the expectation at 12 months!

If the availability count in the store is to be believed, that'll be some time around Christmas. People aren't exactly in a hurry to claim their brushes, for some reason. Again, if the counts are correct - well over 200 unclaimed.
Baloosh
05-19-2010, 04:37 AM
More than likely they'll ship them weekly or so, as the gift certificates are redeemed. They'll probably box up most of them, and just have them waiting to slap a shipping label on the boxes as we redeem our certs.
Then, once a week (that estimate is pure conjecture on my part) they'll make a mass trip to the Post Office.
That way the guys who redeemed in the first few days don't have to wait for the stragglers (or, more politically correct, those who haven't redeemed their cert(s) yet) to finish the process.

On a day to day basis (on average) we get a few hundred emails a day. With this brush, it's tripled. Factor that in with some folks sending 10+ (no joke, some fellas have sent 10+ emails on shipping/brush questions).
Rest assured, everyone who ordered a brush will get one. We're in the process of boxing/shipping hundreds of these, and we've got a litany of questions to get to but we'll get to everyone. If for whatever reason no one gets back to you within the next 2 weeks, PM Nick again, but you should receive a response within that window. :thumbup1:

Seriously guys. This was a HUGE undertaking with loads of responsibility. We know the brushes are shipping. I cannot imagine the amount of grey hair the chaps who set this up must have accumulated. Lets leave them be for a couple more weeks. I suspect most of the brushes will have been delivered by then. Of course that is easy for me to say. Mine is on its way. Woo-hoo! You do realize...the first few to get theirs are required by law* to post pictures.
*All right, that is more of a suggestion than a law.
Looks like the shipment missed FedEx's last pickup. Rescheduled to tomorrow. If it comes I'll post some pics after work.

Mine is for May 28th
I am really looking forward to trying it out this weekend :biggrin1:
Just checked FedEx again and my date got bumped to May 29th.
Maybe checking FedEx is like watching a pot of water and waiting for it to boil...

I sincerely hope that I won't get left out.:c17:
I mean, waiting for 6 months just to recieve nothing:blushing: In the worst case scenario, at least I hope that I can get the gift certificate money back if all else fails.
First I can't buy the gift certificate cause of the "shipping method to your destination" (or something like that- I'm in Croatia) error. I tried messaging and posting questions several times to find out what's up, never got an answer.
http://badgerandblade.com/vb/showpost.php?p=1641370&postcount=5
If I'd decided to go with that, I'd never have gotten a chance of ordering it.
So I decided to get heirkb to order the brush for me and when he gets them both to ship it out to me. Now, cause he miscalculated the taxes and something, there is a chance you'll ship him only one brush, and he has trouble ordering the second brush as he needs to add a few dollars which he can't because of "no paypal" thing.
You can understand that, as the time the brushes would be ready wasn't specified and nobody can be sure of the exact shipping address when the time frame is a few months, it isn't that big of a mistake.
As he said:
http://badgerandblade.com/vb/showpost.php?p=2083549&postcount=136
But now he gets no response- I understand that you have a lot of work and get a lot of PM's. If it was me the waiting time wouldn't be 6 months but 6 years:lol: But he(or to better put it, we) have been waiting for a reply for over 2 weeks.
I'm using this post to plead someone for the reply. At least so I don't have false hopes of getting the brush and come to peace with it without delay. 6 months of waiting in vain is just about enough for me.
What I don't understand is who are all the guys sending you hunderds of PM's when the total of the brushes is what... 200-250?
The point of this post is that I would like to ask the buyers from please refraining from sending the mods PMs with questions like "I payed yesterday ,why isn't my brush already in the mail", "Why is Kent spelled with a K instead of a C", "Can I have mine in pink"... and leave the PM space to people who have actual problems and the guys who stand on actually losing the brush they have patiently been waiting for half a year.
Waiting for 6 months +1 extra week and getting the brush is a lot easier than waiting for 6 months and 3 extra weeks and being left out in the end :blushing:
Sorry for the rant, I feel much calmer now:biggrin1:

Napolean, Joel set the expectation that within the next two weeks, folks with difficulties redeeming should receive a response. Many of us haven't even received shipping notification yet, so you haven't thus far waited any longer than the other gents who ordered during the original window, right? In other words, lots of guys in the same boat as you, so don't feel singled out.
The emphasis here is that Joel said "two weeks" a couple days ago, so that's what you are asked to wait until reaching out again. Perhaps the volume of PM's and emails are from multiple inquiries over the same problem.

I know. This post was mostly for myself to calm down a little. :001_smile You can ignore it.
What I wanted to really say is, if there will be any brushes left, just don't be too quick on offering them to other people.

My FedEx date also was now pushed back to a day to June 3rd. I think I going to move from NYC to the west coast so I don't have to wait an extra day for the next one. All kidding aside, great job Joel, Nick and I'm sure you guys had some help packing and shipping this to us. Looking forward to giving my LE08 a we deserved rest, but won't let it get to comfortable since it's made to be used.

Owww yeah. It's in and I love it already. Can't wait to take it home and spend some quality time! The handle shape is very nice, the knot is small (compared to what I have) and dense. I like the colour too; butterscotch has this vintage feel to it. The only critique I would have is that the 9 in 2009 is a bit offset..

Blast and darn. The original estimated arrival date was May 28th and I was hoping it would be at my front door yesterday . It's now sitting forlorn and lonely in Hutchins, TX, where ever that is, and won't be here until Tuesday.
Arrival yesterday would make this a memorable weekend indded. Oh well, no one said life is supposed to be fair. :cursing:

Yesterday I received an email of my order confirmation back on May 11th for my brush. Looked like the same info as my confirmation that I got on May 11th. Still haven't had a fed ex shipping number though. Getting jealous with all the nice pics being posted. Anyone else still waiting for a shipping confirmation?

I redeemed my certificate on May 11th, and so far have gotten no notification of delivery. Looked on web & it said 'Processed'. Guess we have to wait. Joel & company are honorable and he always takes the task of proposing new products for B&B members, getting input & estimates from factories & vendors such as Kent & QED, arranging the contracts and ordering upon himself. As they said, this is going to take time. Have a great Memorial Day weekend, and remember, pray for and recall all our fighting men & women by whose sacrifice we and others enjoy the freedoms we have!

I redeemed mine on the 10th at 10:30pm California time. It was brush #197 so if there were 200 Butterscotch it would of been the 3rd Gift Certificate. Being in Ca. also helped to receive it sooner.
I think JPDyson is right about the holiday, so it might be awhile to get on track with shipping the brushes again.
When you do receive your brush you will forget all about your waiting time! Mine is even better then I expected it to be. It really has been worth the wait.

There's only one entry line on my Tracking sheet, and that shows that FedEx has been notified, but doesn't even show that the package has been picked up yet.
That was from Monday the 24th, and it estimated delivery on Saturday the 29th, which has come and gone already.

I just got mine a few minutes ago. Not that I've been checking every couple minutes. That would just be silly...
I'm sure they're busy getting everything put together and shipped. Responses may take a while (as Joel posted before), but I'm guessing that they'd rather preempt any questions with a shipment.

Wondering about the same thing. Will all international "brush-orderes" also recieved the shipment notification? I redeemed my gift cert. within hours after it was made possible, and using the "first come - first serve" principle that's been mentioned, I would imagine I would have received a notafication by now (if I'm supposed to get one.....)
Could any of our esteemed brush-buyers comment on this. I don't want to send them a PM or email, as I imagine they have quite enough already ... :blushing:
