I have been using the DR Harris Arlington shave stick for a few shaves and whilst being very satisfied with its overall performance, especially after reading the lathering tips in a recent thread, I got an incredibly uncomfortable shave. It felt as though I had attempted to flay off my own skin. Looking through the ingredients list I find an antioxidant called orthotolyl biguanide which seams to be a skin irritant.
My question is, has anybody else experienced this and are there any other soaps or creams which have this ingredient apart from DR Harris?
