I was wondering if anyone had tried this (Provence Sante Vetiver) and if so what their thoughts were on the scent, longevity, and sillage are.
Thanks

I have it, and it is one of the hardest scents to describe.....not grassy or herbal like a vetiver normally is, very fresh and clean but with something else that is weirdly addictive. I know it's got some cedar in there with the vetiver, but I wouldn't call this a woodsy fragrance.

Thanks.
I've been trying to decide on a "warm weather" vetiver. I've seen all the comments on L'Occitaine, Guerlain, and Creed, but nothing on Provence Sante.

for warm weather, I'd say P. Sante, Guerlain or Creed would be great. While I love Guerlain's, I'd say Creed and P.Sante are the most fresh-out-of-the-shower, clean scents.

L'Occitane's Vetyver is good, but has a strong incense note--I really like it, but for me that makes it more of a cold weather scent.

Good luck!

Sorry to re-hash an old thread. I love the soap and want to know a couple things about the cologne:

1. Does the cologne match the scent of the soap?
2. What is the staying power of the scent?

Any help you can offer would be greatly appreciated!

So, this is just my experience:

1. The edt does smell very much like the soap. I wish they made a shaving soap in the vetiver scent, it would be a big hit.

2. It's got more lasting power than you'd expect from such a light scent, but it kind of goes in two phases.

The initial phase is most of what you smell from the soap, but it doesn't last too long. The second phase is just a nice, clean scent. It doesn't have much of that addictive twang that I can never describe (not woody, not floral, a little herbal, what is it?) and is much more subtle, but up close or on clothing you can still get pick it up six hours later or so, depending on how much you apply and where (and an individual's skin.)

hope this helps.

Thanks again. New 12oz Vetiver bar and Edt arrived today.

Its only been on a few minutes. Will definately be a fav of mine as long as it can hold out.

12oz is a very large bar of soap.
