Has anyone used glycerin and witch hazel?

I added a little glycerin to some witch hazel and it seemed to make a nice moisturizing AS. I think it would also help as a pre shave as well.

Put a couple of drops in the palm with whatever I am using. Where it's a lotion, liquid, cream or balm.

Yep, keep some in a pump spray bottle and use it after every shave.

glycerin is a humectant, meaning it is a substance that retains moisture. vegetable glycerin can not only soften skin, but it can help to keep it hydrated.

it can also be used in a vinegar and water solution to clean and soften shaving brushes.
