I am accustomed to automaticly picking up the most expencive of what ever it is I am interested in. If I were car shoppping I would automaticly stop at the Bugatti, not the dual exahust Yugo. I walked into the golf pro shop here in Fort Wayne, Indiana, Bobick's Golf, and asked if my favorite salesman, William, was in. Thankfully he had just gotten to work. Someone had already snagged him and he hadn't even had a chance to put his lunch pail away yet. OK, I was interested in a putter and he pointed a few things out for me to look for and said give a bunch a try and see which ones work well for you and I'll check in with you in a few minutes.

I went through maybe 20 putters and finally settled on two that seemed to work pretty much the same way. One was a Nike putter and the other was a TourEdge. Only then did I look at the price tags. Yeah I went with the TourEdge that was 70 bucks cheaper then the Nike and putted just as well!

Did you try a Scottie Cameron newport? If I ever traded in my Ping 1-A, it would definitely be for a Scottie.... they aren't cheap but missing putts can sometimes be more expensive:lol:
