So I made my move to straights and found myself not using DEs anymore.
I'll just keep my favorite two. The rest is up for grabs in order to finance next week strops+ razors:scared:. I am willing to trade for straight shaving items.
CONUS shipping included.

Is that what case the Senator's came in? I have always wondered what they were sold in. I assumed it was the cardboard box like the original Super-Speeds.

I don't believe it is. There is one on Achim's website that shows a senator in a cardboard box and this senator is made in USA. But I got a nice case and a nice razor.
Real collectors can get the untainted products. Untainted is not the right word, it's a music trading term. I'm not sure how to put in terms of razor collecting. NOS would be untainted? There is a word collectors use that describes that they know exactly the history of some collectible.
I'm just going for nice stuff and I just love this silver case and senator!

Is "provenance" the word?
Most collectibles with known provenance are overpriced. Personally I'd rather buy from a member who has good taste. That way - collectible or not - it's likely to be a good razor.

Yes, Thank you that is the word. I kept googling up the place in France. :001_rolle And I agree completely about the good taste. And more then that, caring. When a B&B seller describes a tooth that is slightly bent but the photos don't really show it, that is great. Quite the contrast to the ebay carnival, which I can't help myself to wander around in...
