Michael,

He got banned for a clear violation of the Terms of Usage, and for simply not behaving like an adult. He knows who he is. To go into detail would likely be an embarassment to a fairly long term member. Whether he'd deserve that or not, it would not be gentlemanly on our part, which is one of the reasons we don't discuss our actions publicly. That and the fact that often those discussions can cause as much of a disruption as the act itself which does not lend itself to a happy forum. :smile:

The balance on the baby Merkur is different than the Classic and on the first pass, I found myself gripping it too tightly. Rebalancing my grip on the bottom of the handle and relaxing the grip pressure led to good results.

Man I never thought there'd be such a difference in quality between a dried out AOS Lavender and perfectly moist AOS Sandalwood, this stuff was so good today!

My first 9/10, looks like I won't be buying eShave or T&H anymore, they don't hold a candle in terms of quality of shave to the AOS. :thumbup:

Very very nice...the almond oil left my skin super soft and totally irritation free. I had forgotten how good this cream was...now I shall use it much more often. The rose WH was a nice compliment to the almond, and the floris JF matched nicely as well. All in all, a very nice one today...one of the first where I feel like I am beginning to put together a whole "package" in terms of matching scents throughout.

Yowza yowza yowza. First time with both the Proraso Pre/Post and the Trumper's Coconut. The Trumper's was easily the quickest lather I've ever generated... seemed to explode right out of the bowl!!! Don't you just love it when you shake out JUST the right amount of water, and your water:cream ratio is spot-on from the beginning? It doesn't happen very often (for me) but when it does, what a shave!

I can tell the Proraso Pre/Post will make all the soaps and creams I use be extra-extra cooling between passes... and it probably takes away from the scent of most of them.... but I like it nonetheless so far. Will probably relegate it to a summertime only kind of thing...

I know that a lot of guys out there use the Progress razor, but I have to say that of all my DE razors, this is definitely my favorite all around razor.
It is easy to tame and really produces a BBS shave with the right blade combo.
For me.. it is the feather blade. I highly recommend this combo to anyone out there. Even after day five... this is one very nice shave!

great shave today! Nice chilly face! This was my first time trying the proraso green and I really liked it...very similar feeling to the red when on (a bit more intense), but the chill during the cold water rinse was GREAT! I also was pleasantly surprised by the scent...I have used the pre/post before, so i guess I was used to the ultra-concentrated version. this was like a slightly less intense, slightly sweeter version of the pre/post scent.

Great shave - really concentrated in trying to do everything by the book, and it paid off in a wonderfully smooth BBS shave without hardly any nicks/irritation. Wow, what a brush! I immediately fell in love with the BK4, whips up the lather in next to no time, moves gently along the face.... very nice.

The shave itself was alright. Dunno why, but the QED soap really started to itch badly a few minutes after applying and i had to stop after the third pass. Redness on the face, even now, 2 hours after shaving. Heck, I always thought the guys from the city were prone to allergies and not us from the countryside... :crying:
First the Golddachs, then Pecksniff's Fougere and now QEDs Lemon & Cedarwood, if I could only identify the bugger in all three soaps that causes the itching... :scared:

Not bad, but not good... face feels possibly a little too moisturised (i.e. a tad sticky), and the Skin Food kind of kills off the Musgo A/S scent a little. I'd probably just use the Musgo Splash on its own next time, or with a more 'neutral' ASB such as Nivea or something similar.

I usually can get a good lather, and sometimes it is lacking some body. Last night was one of those times where the body of the lather was weak. It covered well and aided in a nice shave. Just no thick creamy lather like I got from AOS.

Now that Caswell Massey closed their Dallas shop I am not so sure I will be using all their products. I know for a fact I will not be purchasing any more of their shaving soap.

My wife the sweet girl she is yesterday found me a nice little Gillette 3 piece DE. It is lighter and has a thinner handle then my other razor. I look forward to giving it a try tonight.

Nivea after shave balm, blue top, regular balm

checked the mailbox and had a shipment from SaintCharlesShave.com.
So I spritzed on some New Spice cologne, for the first time. I love it! Wife loves it, too.

overall, an extremely close shave. I rate it as a 9+.

Much Better today a Little rash on the lower neck but BBS everywhere else it seems to start to clear and then comes back I need to figure out the reason I was thinking maybe a product now today I think it might be the blade. I am trying to remember but I think it has been on day 3 of the blade I am going to watch it over the next week. I do not know for sure but it is starting to bug me. It starts to clear up and then it comes back.:confused1

I thought the original Thayer's was unscented...but it is witch hazel scented...I think I prefer the rose WH...though I could see the "old school" medicinal scent of the original growing on me.

First time trying the Douro...so far I believe I prefer Raquets to this one (from the Penhaligon samples I received...all newer scents)

Anyway, making my way out on a long car trip this morning. Am looking forward to seeing how the DE travel shave kit I created travels

The Thayers Stung me when I appied it (mines isn't alcohol free, first time I felt a sting), and the AOS heated up my mustache area for a few seconds. Still need to work on my technique.

Shaved my face really well, got loads of creamy lather but probably got caught up in the moment and had a couple of nicks on my neck and some irritation.

The Alum stopped the flow but the balm didn't soothe the irritation completely
