If Gillette did reintroduce the DE and advertised heavily, people would probably flock to buy it. Can you imagine how expensive DE blades would then become?

Yes, I suppose that Gillette's TRAC II, Good News!, Sensor, Custom Plus3, Mach3 and Fusion are all in the safety razor category, among others that they manufacture.

Atleast 3 for the India / China [Asia] market.

One is the one in your photograph, the metal head and plastic handle. The other two are all plastic single body - click type - extremely light and just do the job. These are sold under the "Nacet" branc in South East Asia and Asia in general.

I had one. I would say comparable to a Weishi or new Parker tto. Nothing special, but it gets the job done.

I saw the commercial for this new razor last night. It started with clips from old black and white Gillette DE commercials for razors and blades...I felt a bit of nostalgia looking at those old clips featuring Superspeeds and such...the commerical quickly transitioned to newer clips showing the Sensor, Mach 3, Fusion, and the "next best thing" coming on June 6th...the sense of nostalgia quickly went away.
