Gillette razor identification?

Dan, it's a Gillette Tech, probably from '40s. I'm not an expert, so someone more knowledgeable may contradict this. I've got a few of these. Anyway, they're regarded as a gentle razor that is a nice shaver --and they are. Great for new folks breaking into DE wetshaving, and even some of the old salts like them. They are common, readily available on eBay for a modest cost still.

I have a few of these and gave one to my son for his first DE. Techs are really very nice shavers. Give it a whirl!
