Help dating what I believe to be a travel tech

I'll put up some pictures later when I have time and have attempted to clean today's purchases. But I found what I believe is a Gillette Tech Travel razor. This is my first Gillette so I am unfamiliar with decoding the date. The underneath of the bottom plate has the following.

Upper left: N REG US
Upper Right: PAT OFF 2
Bottom left: the Gillette diamond
Bottom Right: MARCAS REGS

I'm guessing it's a 1968 second quarter?


Either way I'm very happy as it came in the case, still had a blade in it. Kinda dirty, but no visible plating or damage so far. I'm going to clean it up tomorrow and post pics. I'm kinda excited as it's my first addition to my den besides the HD I purchased to learn with. :thumbup:

A Gillette made in the US in the 2nd Quarter of 1968 would indeed have an N2 mark.

Yep, the N on one side and the 2 on the other.
