1k post PIF - Shave set

For my 1,000th post, I'd like to offer this PIF. The rules are set forth below.

I've been the recipient of several kindnesses here on Badger and Blade, and would like to return at least a little. In these times, with two wars and a deep recession, there are too many members in need. So, in the interest of good karma, for your perusal, I offer the following:

(1) Schick injector
(1) 20pack of Eversharp blades
(1) Almost full bottle of TOBS Preshave Treatment (oil)
(1) Almost full tube of T&H Ultimate Comfort Balm

I'll also throw in a decant of Floid blue, and some shaving cream. Although, I'm not sure which brand yet. All you need is a brush. Heck, maybe I'll make it some Musgo cream so you don't even need a brush.

What are the requirements, you ask?

I'd like to offer this to our members who fall into any of the following catagories:


active duty military
recently separated from the military
currently unemployed (students count)


Preferably those without shaving gear.

How this will work:


Please post a reply here. You don't need to explain why you are deserving. This is entirely on the honors system. We are all gentlemen here (or at least a reasonable facsimile thereof :001_cool:).

I'll leave this open until Saturday morning at 1000 hours (PST). At that time, a winner will be chosen at random. I haven't figured out exactly how yet. (Random.org?)

Hi. I am an undergraduate college student with plans on moving onto medical school. I have been looking into DE razors on and off but never had the courage (or the money) to go out and buy a set! To meet the criteria I recently was unexpectedly laid off from my job and am unemployed. I really shouldn't even be looking into buying a DE set or anything new for that matter but a lifetime of razor bumps, irritation, and far from Baby bottom smooth (new lingo from all these guides!) shaves has finally put me on the path. I finally registered and came to the buy section and saw your post. This is my 1st post and I would just like to thank you for the opportunity!

Uniq is going to be wet shaving before the end of next week! A man cannot be expected to attend his studies without a proper shave! :w00t:

Brand new here yesterday...I'm an unemployed emergency medical technician applying to medic school in the fall (no military history) and I definitely would love to try any truefitt and hill product (for my wallet wont allow it at the moment)- preshave and aftershave treatment is quite the penny pinched grey area these days for me.
