Well the first 2 are the same. B1G1 and buy 2 for the price of 1. 50% off is garbage because in the other 2 you can get 2 items and sell one. This would put you at greater than 50% off

I respectfully disagree. Option 3 (50% off) includes Options 1 and 2, but Options 1 and 2 do not include Option 3. Option 3 is the option that gives the buyer the most flexibility, so I would go with that one.
So for example, if I take Option 3, I can:
Option 1: Buy 1 and get 1 free (essentially)
Option 2: Buy 2 for the price of 1
Option 3: 50% off
This isn't true for either 1 or 2..

50% off because if you only wanted or needed one that's all you have to buy. Then if you want more it still works out to two for the price of one.

Option C was supposed to be "50% off when you buy 2." I've made the change.... Proceed!

I will take 50% off. I might only need one. And the additional cost of spoilage, shrinkage, or storage not to mention PV of money for the other unit will add to the cost.

An option for "None of the above" would save you 100% as I keep telling my wife. :wink2:

I never actually paid attention in my macro/micro economics courses.
I'll always take 50% off in case we're talking about women's clothing. :wink2:

Yeah, okay, fine.
I'll still take 50% off, as the BOGO or 2-for-1 are always skewed in favour of the merchant if you are buying two differently-priced items, so it never really works out to an actual half-price sale ... but with 50% off you just get what you want.
... can I now go back to thinking about women's clothing half-off? :001_rolle:w00t:

They are all the same, aren't they?
A. Buy one, get one free Item costs say $5. I get two for that price, so an effective 50% discount
B. Two for the price of one Item costs say $5. I get two for that price, so an effective 50% discount
C. 50% off when you buy two Again, item costs $5. I buy two, $10.00 - 50%($5.00) = $5.
They are all effectively the same.

Option C was supposed to be "50% off when you buy 2." I've made the change.... Proceed!Except the poll still shows the old question. I choose the "old" option C, as it was the best deal.
My yearbook editor used to sell notebooks for ten cents each, or two for a quarter. You would not believe how many kids took him up on the latter offer.
