When using glycerine to make uberlather, does it make matter if the glycerine is derived from a plant as opposed to an animal source? I recently bought some glycerine from my local apothecary and it is plant based. I use it to make uberlather but just wondering if anyone has an answer to this question. My lather is slicker if I add the glycerine but since I have not tried animal derived glycerine yet, I have no way to tell if the plant based glycerine is inferior to animal based glycerine. Thanks in advance.

It doesn't matter; it is always C3H5(OH)3 regardless where it comes from.

As long as it does the job for you my friend, that's all that matters. :wink2:
